The City of Aalsmeer is looking for the most sustainable energy supply for its Hornmeer district, where a number of changes are anticipated, including the construction of a school/day care center, a sports center, and new homes. The existing environment (mainly homes, businesses and the local swimming pool) will eventually also need to run on renewable energy. Infinitus Energy Solutions Group explored this issue with various market players and investigated a combination of the use of sustainable energy and energy-efficiency. This resulted in initial talks for a sustainable heat transfer process in Hornmeer with appropriate partners, who shared the same ideas about sustainability.
